Starting A Coffee Shop

The aroma, the ambience, the atmosphere! and serving the public in a friendly atmosphere is a goal many coffee loving entrepreneurs consider. But there is a reality that goes with almost any industry.

The slick sales brochures for the franchises, and the current owners advertising their businesses for sale only tell HALF of the story.

There are always two sides to any legitimate business venture. The first part is all the things you research and are told when examing the business niche from the outside. The second, darker part is the realities you find once you take the plunge and become an owner.

Here’s the truth: Starting a coffee shop business is actually fairly easy. Keeping it open and making it very profitable is the hard part.
